About Tom
Tom Huggins is a native of Parkersburg West Virginia. Tom obtained a bachelors degree from West Virginia in Marketing and Accounting in 1983
Tom's career began in the real estate industry working UDC homes in South Carolina. He later worked for various real estate companies for 15 years in Florida. During this time, Tom discovered his love for home improvements. He frequently worked with his brother Chuck Huggins who was a professional painting contractor in Florida for 17 years.
In 2002, Tom continued his career in home improvement services by starting a custom cabinetry business in Naples, FL. He gained additional experience in carpentry, cabinet design and auto cad.
In the summer of 2007, Tom moved back to West Virginia to be closer to family and friends. His desire to continue his career in the real estate improvement industry, he formed Tom Huggins Painting & Home Improvement Service. Tom loves to help others in making improvements to their real estate investments. Tom pays attention to preparation and detail.
He enjoys his work, staying directly involved with each project to start to finish, to assure his clients of the highest standard of quality.
Painting runs in the family with Tom's uncle and great grandfather spending their lives as professional painters in Washington, DC. Both worked on several projects involving the continuous task of painting the White House and many other buildings that make up the nation's capital.
